ALMOND DROPS


Ingredients:

  • Almonds - 200 gm 
  • Maida flour - 1/2 cup
  • Eggs - 3
  • Butter - 2 tbsp
  • Castor sugar - 200 gm
  • Almond essence - 1/4 tsp
  • Chocolate Sauce - 1 tbsp
  • A pinch of Salt

For Garnish:

  • Flaked almonds - 1 tbsp
  • Pista - 1 tbsp (sliced)


Method:

Preheat the oven to100°C at convention.

Grind the almonds nicely and keep aside. Beat egg white until stiff and keep it separately.

Mix ground almonds, maida, castor sugar, chocolate sauce, salt and almond essence into egg whites and prepare a mixture. 

Place the mixture in a piping bag with a star nozzle and pipe the mixture into circles, S- shapes and stars.

Put flaked almond and pista on top of each drop.

Bake in a preheated oven for 10 to 20 minutes. Cool on a wire tray.
