Ingredients:

  • 6 large slices of bread sliced into halves  (or) Rusk
  • Ghee - 2 tbsp
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Condensed milk - 1 cup
  • Saffron - few
  • Nutmeg powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Fried Almonds ,Cashewnuts, walnuts and Pistachios  - 1/4 cup
  • Raisins - 1 tbsp

Method:

Heat ghee in flat dish for 10 seconds. Place bread slices of bread and microwave for 5 minutes,turning the slices over after 3 minutes.

In a deep microwave safe bowl, mix milk, condensed milk, raisins, saffron and cardamom powder and microwave for 5 minutes.

Arrange the bread slices of bread in a serving plate and pour the thickened cooked milk over it. Sprinkle nutmeg powder, cinnamon powder , fried almonds, walnuts and pistachios on top. Serve either at room temperature or chilled.
